Bold Ruffles

Large grayish blue wavy edged leaves are extremely thick and puckered. Makes a very imposing specimen up to 4' wide at maturity. The large rippled grayish blue leaves make an attractive clump! Spreading mound of large, blue-gray leaves with ruffled edges, whitish flowers. One of the first large ruffled blues. Dark green with glaucous bloom; rugose; many marginal ripples. Very striking for its ruffled, unruly character: slow growing during the first, then rapidly making up the loss in later years.
